In 2002, I came to the Boys & Girls Clubs with an idea for an ad campaign under the tagline, "Be Somebody to Somebody." In the years since, we've produced all manner of marketing stuff. We've also produced results. We've grown from three club units to 28. From 1,500 kids served to 12,000. From a budget of $750,000 to $5,500,000. Soon we'll break ground on a new signature club facility that will help us serve more kids more often. Next to fatherhood, it's been the most rewarding experience of my life.
